Since Dhela Zone joined Jim Corbett National Park in 2014, the area has seen an increase in visitors each year, with many choosing to spend the night in the forest there. The vast array of flora and creatures that inhabit Corbett are what most people are familiar with it for. Despite the fact that Dhela is the name of the gateway to the Dhela Zone. Whether the safari is only offered in the morning or the evening, there are 15 jeeps available for each time slot. This area has grown in appeal as a tourist destination since it offers more chances to see wildlife. Depending on the season, the timing for both slots also fluctuates. One of the key reasons for this area's appeal is the fact that it is open all year round. The chance to see Corbett's flora and animals is also increasing. There are both common animals and threatened species.
Location
The "Dhela Gate," which is 15 kilometers away from Ramnagar, serves as the entrance to both the Jhirna and the Dhela zones. It is the newest tourist site in Corbett and has seen yearly growth in popularity. The Jhirna zone can only be entered by Jeep Safaris with only limited jeeps in both shifts.
Attraction:
The major key attraction of Dhela zone is that it is open all year round. The chance to see Corbett's flora and fauna is also increasing by this fact. Where you can see both, ordinary animals and endangered species may coexist together. This has emerged as the most recent tourist destination, featuring everything from Asian elephants to various bird species. Pre-registration for the Dhela Zone safari is possible through the official government website 30 days prior to Indian citizen and 45 days prior to foreigner.
Flora & Fauna-
All of these species from diverse bird species like the eagle and the red jungle fowl to numerous wildlife species like the Royal Bengal tiger can be seen in this area. There are additional animals including elephants, deer, wild boar and sloth etc. Crocodiles, Indian Pythons, cobras, gharials, and various lizard species have all been seen in this area.
The Dhela zone's forest is the same forest as the other zones of Corbett, with mostly sal forest trees and wide grassland known as chaur as its predominant flora, so the wildlife opportunities are the same as those in any other zone of Corbett.
				  Night Stay-
In the Dhela Zone, Jim Corbett gives guests the option to spend the night inside the forest to learn more about it. Visitors may even spend the night there surrounded by nature. The Dhela Zone Night Stay FRH was built deep into the forest for those who choose to live in nature. Through the entrance gate to the Dhela Zone, visitors can spend the night in the FRHs constructed by the government. One of the greatest places to have a peaceful stay and see the Dhela Zone at night is here. While foreign visitors must make reservations 90 days in advance of the scheduled date of their visit, Indians must do so 45 days in advance.
