The sixth zone which added into the Jim Corbett National Park was the Garjiya zone. A maximum of 30 jeeps are permitted to enter the Jim Corbett National Park entry gate during either the morning or evening shifts. The Garjiya Zone is open from middle of October to June; it is uncertain if it got impacted by the weather. The Garjiya Zone entry gate is only open to 30 Jeeps in the morning and 30 Jeeps in the evening shift. Like the other few zones of Jim Corbett National Park, it is closed from June until November. Pre-registering on the Jim Corbett National Park website is required for Indian citizens 30 days prior to the visit date and for foreign visitors 45 days prior to the visit date in order to enter the entry gate of the Garjiya Safari Zone. The primary draw of Jim Corbett National Park is the jungle jeep safari, which allows visitors to independently explore Corbett's jungle region.
Fauna & Flora in Garjiya Tourism Zone
The Garjiya Eco-Tourism Zone shares the same flora and fauna as the other zones of Jim Corbett National Park, making it equally likely to see various animal species there. The main attraction of Garjiya zone is Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephant, different species of deer (Sambhar, Barking, Hog, Spotting) and Wild Boar etc. same with the Birds types, the species of birds which could be seen sitting in trees.
Attraction
The primary draw of Corbett is the variety of animals. Every visitor to Corbett chooses to do so for a certain purpose. In this Corbett location, there are several possibilities to witness animals because to the various flora and fauna. This area is typically close to mountainous scenery, which is great if you like the outdoors or animals. The zone is available from the middle of October to the June. The safari lasts for three hours inside the zone. You must go to the government-approved website to make arrangements for your entry permission into the registered zone.
Distance
The entry gate to this area is approximately 9 kilometers from Ramnagar, and the only Jeep safaris that are offered are day tours.

Open- The Garjiya zone opens from middle of October to June.
Close – From June till the monsoon season stops, it remains closed.
